Poppy, a regular at Brittany

Jacinda Mayo our Clinical Manager brings her very pampered Welsh pony Poppy in once every couple of months to meet the residents and have cuddles and scratches.

Many of our residents have farming backgrounds and some have been part of the equine community in Hawke’s Bay and miss the horses.

Our residents love the animal visitors and it is always a popular event when they come to entertain us.
